my new doily
finished this doily last week, bolcked it with a bit of stach so that it doesnt recoil back.
last night we had friends over and they had their eyes popping and i was very proud and so was my hubby!!!
the pattern is from a 1979 issue from Mon tricot which i bought from a street market, it was a good deal for second hand book as i bought the whole bulk of books from the shop keeper.
that bulk contained lots of old issues of stitchcraft and mon tricot

I read your request over at Knitters Review about adding buttons. I noticed that you have a couple of links in your sidebar, so you know where they go which is a start. The easiest way I found was by first opening an account with www.photobucket.com (this is free) upload your buttons to this site and they spit out some html code for each button and that is then your image source. So then you follow the instructions for adding buttons over at www.knitblog.com and voila buttons on your blog :)
